Black- 2001 Trans Am WS6
First day at the track in the WS6
Went to Island Dragway today for the first time. Only got a few pics because the camera battery died apparently. 2001 Pontiac Trans Am WS6, bone stock. Ran a best of 13.4 @ 106 for the day when I finally learned how to get a semi-decent launch off the line. I had some pretty fun races, there was a pretty good variety of cars out there.
The problem is, now I caught the mod bug and am looking at a few mods to get me into the 12's

Very nice car. Assuming you're an M6, all you need for 12s are lid, cut out, and drag radials.

Yeah, I need to work on my launches. I'm on Falken ZRi 275's, and did nothing but spin most of my launches. Best 60' was a horrible 2.1

The kicker is that the STI wasn't stock. It had a full "turbo back exhaust", "upgraded intercooler", "upgraded turbo", and the guy was putting bags of ice on his intercooler and waiting a good 15 minutes between every run as well, while I was bone stock and hopping right back in line to race after every run.

yeah, i've seen a lot of people do that with STis, i spose the cooler the air the better and the intercoolers must get warm? that is really funny though, those things are supposed to such king sh*t
