Trans-am WS6 specs?
Hey,
I'm new to the Trans-am world, and I've been looking around a lot. I'm finding it real difficult to find all of the specs on the 99s. So I was hoping you guys could pitch in here and there and let me know whats up with my new car.

All Black- 83, 87, 02 All WS6 T/As
WS6 is an add on to the T/A... its the R/A hood, little beefer suspension, etc. Mostly a slight performance package.

Your car im afraid is not a real WS.6.... HOWEVER... performance wise there is not a whole lot of difference between them.. just the fact that the car has been modified and not had the regular TA parts replced with WS.6 code parts.. you could if you wanted buy all the parts from GM and then you would have a TRUE replica..
some of the parts you could look at...
Air box... its going to look like a regular TA lid, but its going to be raised up with an opening under the lid
Sway bars..
Shocks..
Rims..you have ZR-1's if you had a 99 WS.6 you would have 17x9 skinny 5spoke wheels.. only on WS.6's
Shifter... you should have a Hurst shifter if it is a 6spd.. has a H imprinted on the shift knob
Exhaust tips... should be 2 single tips chrome, rolled edges...
finally you should have a WS.6 badge on the passenger side under the taillight..
There may be a couple of other things to look for, but thats about it.
Either way man.. your new ride looks nice, I do think you might have paid a little more than necessary, but hey who hasn't done that before..
Good luck
