i got C6 exhaust for free...

i got ahold of a C6's exhaust. what should i do with it? i got the system from the Cat-back. mufflers with some sweet chrome tips welded on.

i've thought of just selling it.(it has 4 miles on it, yes 4) but i wanted to see if i could get it to work on a LS1 Z28.

its not going to work for an ls1. also not many people are in search of stock catbacks.

ain't gonna work, at least it is not bolts on.. may have to customize it. if u wanna get rid of it, try to sell it on ebay, but not many people would jump at it as there's better catback sys out there for 500-600 bucks. my 2 cents.

i swapped a GMPP exhaust onto an 07 vette. the guy said we could keep it. the parts manager said to throw it out. i asked if i could have it, and they said sure. by the way GMPP exhaust is by far the worst exhaust i have ever installed.
ok now im not planning to make the system work. i'll just cut off the Tips and sell it.

actually the stock system is better than most aftermarket systems because it weights 2 times less than an aftermarket system. if your gonna get a better exhaust on a vette, make sure u look at weight

yeah the new catbacks flow better, noisier if u want or mild if u chose,
the weight does make a difference but not that huge, 30lbs more is ok when
you gain 5-6rwhp more because of better flow,... it all depends, case by case scenario.. so u can be right as well.

when i put that gmpp exhaust in it weighed at least double of the stock exhaust. which means it was at least 50lbs more. so yes, better flow, but no more performance. it evens itself out for the most part. that gmpp exhaust is a lot like the borla system.
