I think I ended up using a 10mm wrench. Its been a long time though so I'm not 100% sure.
You shouldn't need an adapter for anything...Not sure why yours doesnt fit.

I had a problem with my airtubes fitting my LT's, it was mostly for clearance issues so I deleted it with block off plates and tuned it out later. As far as the manifold goes, the far back bolts, it's easiest to get to with a box or stubby wrench from under the car. It's a squeeze, but that's the best way. Also take your plugs and wires out, makes it easier when it comes down

undo the cats and then the steering rod, make sure the car is jacked up as high as possibe cuz youl need to move the header alot. i had to remove my oil filter and lift the motor just a bit on the driver side.be patient its a bitc. but with the cats off just reach from under neath to remove bolts you cant see good.remember you need o2 sims or you will throw codes.plus your car might sound better, but without a tune you will be slower.good luck and remember how much your saving doing the work yourself.now you know why they charge so much to install huh
