6.0 gto stock 1/4 mile time??? any one... especially those who have 'em

this kid i know has one in 6 speed he says he ran 13.1 stock... not impossible but i just thought the 6.0's were more in the 13.3-5 range stock...

i mean ive seen them in etown alot and never seen a stock one run that low...average 13.4-5

i guess im asking if he's bullshittin...

The rare few have gotten into the 12s stock - albeit 12.8s and 12.9s.

I saw a 6.0 go 12.9@109 completely stock. I checked it out in the lanes, and it was just that -stock. 13.1 is very attainable. 13.4-13.5 is more of 5.7 GTO M6 territory.

Its all about the driver. First time to the track w/ my buddy who is a seasoned racer went 13.5 at 103 w/ his 05 A4 goat. Next couple passes went 13.4s. Then a couple 13.2s as he learned that launch technique w/ the car. Last run of the night he managed a 1.98 to a 13.19 at 105. Weather was right at 0 feet. They are capable of 13.1's. Just need a little weather to help them out.

They are capable of high 12's, with several cars on record that have accomplished that. For some reason, I noticed you tend to take just a couple tenths credit away from some of the muscle cars on occasion. No pun intended, but it just seems that way "ImpalaSS".
