is there a bolt on replacement for eliminating your cats????
i have a 2000 z28... its lowered pretty good so i had to buy shorty headers..i also already have a borla catback and borla y-pipe... but i want to get rid of my cats.... does anyone know of a bolt on piece to make up the space between a shorty header and the y-pipe?? or do i have to get one made at an exhaust shop... thanks.

just take it to a muffler shop, a 1'may3' piece of pipe and some welds cant be that much cooin. but for ur anser i really dont think so

It Just Seems Like There Should Be A Bolt On Part For Eliminating Your Cat....you Know?? Just A Simple Piece Of Pipe Witha Flange On Both Ends That Goes From The Header Or Exhaust Manifold Directly To Y-pipe..i Just Thought Somebody Woulda Put That Out By Now..

I have JBA's and was looking for the same thing. The cat deletes were so expensive I just bought a Bassani off road y pipe for less than the cat deletes.

if you can find the pipe you can do it yourself. depending on your local state laws there are huge fines if muffler shops are caught removing cats. i know in WA, there's a $25,000 fine for that so shops won't even consider it.
