04 350Z (Enthu) vs. 01 WS6

another employee at work has a '04 350Z (mods:19 inch wheels and carbon fiber hood).

I checked out the track times on that specific car, very close to to mine.

'01 WS6 A4 (mods so far: air intake, borla exhaust, sfc)

He says he would beat my car just on the basis of his car being a manual and mine being an auto.... I said "1. you won't beat me, 2. unless you shift perfectly, you may get pretty close to my back bumper"

any comments??

It won't even be close...a 04 350Z is a low/mid 14 sec car so you should be a full second faster. Run him from a dig....if he insists on a roll race make sure you're not in a dead spot (when the tranny doesn't kick down). As long as you drive decently you shouldn't have a prob...so don't smoke'em up through 1st and 2nd

I posted a race in the kill section of when I ran into a 350Z ill copy and paste it and you can decied lol...

So me and my two friends are drivin to a buddies house in my car and its about ten or so at night so not much traffic on the roads. I pull up to the light and look to my left and glance accrost the intersection...I was heading east and the cars were looking at were heading south...but anyways we see this old 3RD gen T/A sitting there while this new 350Z pulls up behind him and starts flashing his lights and going nuts ??? My friends start egging me on so I cave lol, so my light turns green so instead of going stright I get in the left turn lane and flip a bitch real quick before there light turns. I pull up beside the z with a car infront of me and the light turns green so I speed up and get infront of the older T/A and the z pulls in the right lane, so im in the left...So be it the next light we come up on is red !!! He rolls up next to me and revs his engine...whatever lol...light turns green and we both hit it I run it to about 80 and had about 5 cars on him and we hit the next light and he had to get behind me...so he is on my ass to the point I couldnt see his head lights, so this light turns green and I punch it agin not allowing him to pass, and we just so happen to hit another light...I roll down my window expecting him to say something...but his window stays up but his girl in the passenger seat just had a smile on her face and was staring over lol...Light turns green I put my hand out the window with the peace sine and rip him a new one till about 100...I get in the left lane to turn around and here he comes on the wrong side of the road into on coming traffic...Dumb ass...and then going around 110 blows through a red light causing many cars to slam on there breaks or even realize what was going on...Overall even with an extra 350lbs in the car the z was no match for the T/A...It was one of the funnest street races ever just tought I would share it with you guys...Good times !

All and all that car stock has nothing aginst a stock to lightly modded T/A, that will be a sweet race for you, take it !
O and I am also in an A4 and he was in a manual so...

haha - good kill story.

I looked more into the times for those Zs and was very sure I could beat him.

Now I feel very confident. Thanks guys. I think I might be posting something in the kill stories forum very soon

Raced a copper colored one on the highway the other day,wasn't much of a race from a 60mph drop.By the time i hit 130,he was wayyyyyyyyyyy back.

How the hell is 19 inch rims a mod??? LOL! You will kill him in a race! Just go from a dig this way the stick wont be an advantage for him.

Didn't you know for RICERS wheels and decals are mods.

19inch Wheels = 25hp!
Decals = 10hp each!

Plus with thoes mods he should run the 1/4 in 4sec around 600mph...So I hear at least I ll post up a vid of one doing this with the same exact mods as this guy when I get the tape back from NASA who somehow left it on a planet on some mission where they took the Z up there with them and got the parts from a guy up there for the Z and they liked the parts so much they drove the Z back here cuz it was that BA. The guy who owns this Z keeps wanting to race but I guess that Z isnt running right, its top end spark sensor isnt sensoring the spark or the sensor so the torque converter has to be recalibrated to 16402 plus a rotery filter has to be un changed with the intake round about, its science...

not quite the same but still entertaining. work with a kid who has a late 90's honda hatch back. ( you all know whats coming next!! lol).
one day after work he gets up and starts running his mouth. as you can guess we end up lining up. by 50mph hes 3-4 lengths behind me. my car is basically stock (ls6 cam, clutch, and 4:10 gears). he swears his car runs mid 12's. i havent run my car at the track yet but i guess around mid 13's.
now you wanna talk about stickers.......at least 50 different ones. every time i see him now he wont say a word about his car.........its kinda funny really!

Nothing makes me more happy than having a ricer pull up to me and rev his little v-tech. I look over adn give one rev and I watch as he sadly sputters away.
