anyone else ever think of this?
Hey guys, had a thought today... i dunno how many of you have played with one of those playstation portables but i finnaly figured out a little about mine and found out its more than just a crappy handheld video game... then it hit me... i bet if someone could figure out how to do it you could run a diagnostics or stand alone program off of it... It wouldnt weigh as much as a laptop, it could be mounted in a good location, and it would look sweet.... probley a lil more far fetched than it seems but hey... i like the sound of it lol

It's a good idea. So good that a number of companies are making products like the one you are suggesting! ;-) I saw some products at SEMA like this. Hypertech has one I remember. I think Diablo Sport is doing one, too (called Trinity or something).

I'd like to develop a product that runs on a PocketPC to do what you are suggesting. Maybe after I finish with the GT Tuner. ;-)

Interesting. I wonder if PSPs are cheaper then PocketPCs. ;-)

Yea, they make legit software to turn your PSP into a GPS. Pretty wild! I gotta find a PSP mounting setup (better than the crap on eBay anyways).
