Hi guys a friend of mine has a 96 z28 with the Lt1 we both have noticed that upon heavy acceleration (when he guns it..lol) that white not blue or black smoke comes out of his tail pipes and it smells gasy? Could it ahve something to do with his converter or injectors? Its stock and does not burn oil and or low on antifreeze and it still does it after the car is warmed up and the weather has been warm here lately as well. thanks guys

white usually means water... has the car been sitting? Did you get gas from a shady gas station? I'd throw in some of that stuff you can use to take water out of gasoline... Just a thought

Could be a head gasket. Keep and eye on the coolant level.
