    2000 Trans Am

    Exclamation Ls 6 Intake?!?!?!?

    I own a 2000 ws6 trans am and i hear all the time that i should get an ls6 intake!! What will it do for my horsepower and where can I get one at a reasonable price? Are they hard to install or can I do it myself?

    www.ls1howto.com has a guide on the swap you can check out. You'll have to delete your EGR and have the codes turned off. Make sure there's a way around your California emissions, can't help there - Florida doesn't have any.

    I got my LS6 when it was for sale from SLP. I honestly wouldnt pay full price for a new one with the limited mods I HAVE, but some people want every little piece of hp.

    Id say buy it used or hopr and pray for another sale.

    No. But you might want to do a search.

    Prepare and read up on the passed threads like I did and its cake.

    Only thing that I fucked up on (not really paying attention) was breaking the oil sensor.
