What do you think about this Z28?
It's a red 1999 Chevy Camaro Z28
Specs:
77k kilometres (48.125 miles)
5,7 Liter LS1 engine
284 hp measured at the wheels !!!
17” Genuine GM Camaro SS rims with 275/40/17 Yokohama AVS tires all round
16” Genuine GM Camaro chrome rims with 245/50/16 Goodyear tires all round
Over 3800 USD invested in last 12 months:
- new clutch
- overhauled transmission
- new brake discs and pads
- revalved shocks
- Leather TransAm WS6 seats all round, front seats electric + orthopaedic (lumbar support and side-wings adjustable)
- Eibach Pro lowering springs
- SLP short throw shifter
- TNA Motorsports short stick
- Hurst shift knob
- Upgraded PCM software
- Interior totally clean and almost immaculate
- Shiny and nice torch red paint with 35th anniversary striping
- Blaupunkt Seattle MP74 MP3 radio with graphic display and flip-down motorized screen
- Brand new GTech Pro RR performance meter installed
- Mechanically perfectly maintained
- Ram-Air modification
Parts in stock and included in price but not yet mounted:
- BBK LS6-style 356-aluminum intake manifold
- BBK 85mm 356-aliminum throttle body
- SLP 85mm performance MAF
- KN 57i cold air intake
Overall the car is a real head-turner. It is German specs and the asking price is 9900 € with stock equipment (on 16” rims) –
With all the goodies included and the separate rims (worth US$ 1500 alone) the asking price is USD 16'500
The two only bad spots worth mentioning are in pictures 24 and 25, namely a dent in the front bumper and a scratch in the rear bumper which some ass***e left me on a parking lot. No big deal, you can get spare painted red front and rear bumpers from my parts lot for 200,00 a piece if you want. A little polish on the rear makes it invisible, I made the picture extra-crisp for you to see.Last edited by White Cobra; 09-15-2006 at 01:43 PM.

284 to the wheels? Thats a little low for those mods. Maybe something is wrong.
Stock it should be closer to 300rwhp. Stock.

Yeah the seller is a GM technique and said it's the lowest he had on the wheels without the BBK components and no PCM tuning. Top Speed with all components shall be around 280-290km/h ^^

Blue- 1980 Camaro-4sale
I'm loving the racing stripes. Oh, and your avatar is very unusual for someone over seas, very cool non-the less though. And it's nice to see someone into the "muscle" even with your crazy ass gas prices over there.
