    will ls2 intake work on ls1

    got a 98 z28 & want to upgrade to an ls6 intake . found ls2 intakes for alot less $ , will it fit & what is needed to make it work. egr & air pump can go

    LS2 intake might be *marginally* better than an LS1 intake, but probably not even worth the money. An LS6 intake flows better than the LS2.

    The LS2's are probably cheaper because they don't work as well as the LS6's and require modification to fit. By the time you buy everything you need to make the LS2 work, you've spent as much as the better LS6 intake.

    from most things i've read, the LS2 intake is a direct bolt on to the motor. you'll need a 90mm TB or adapter. most that have put one on, haven't goten as much as the LS6 intake.

    you have to worry about the knock sensors

    and the fuel rails...as ben mentioned, its not worth the gain. ls6 or fast are the way to go.
