    Fuse/MAF Problem

2001 Camaro SS. My SES light came and here's the code.

P0102 - Low input from MAF

Well I check the MAF, and the wires running from it. Everything seems to be fine. I couldn't figure out the problem.

I looked at the fuses under the hood, and noticed the 20A fuse labeled (ENG SEN) was blown. I replaced the fuse, and turned the SES light off myself. It seemed to run fine after that.

A little while later, I started my car, and SES light was back on. I checked the fuse and it was blown again!

What would be causing the fuse to pop? Any help would be appriciated.

prob a short. You might want to replace your MAF, and if you want to upgrade I have a stock unit from a 2002 Z06 (screenless from factory and 85mm) you might be interested in and it comes with the pigtail... anyway, if you're interested pm me. I had a similar problem on my old v6 car and replaced the MAF and noticed it was fine after that, with a pickup in performance.

On my car, I just eliminated the MAF altogether by removing the codes in HPTuners and setting fail freq to 0 - it's an auto so it shifts hard as hell now but the problem I was having, slipping at low torque loads like on the highway in cruise, is completely gone now so I'm going to keep away from MAFs (even a screened stocker was giving me problems btw).
