Best. Deal. Ever.
Just bought a 75 gallon acrylic fish tank with stand, hood, lights, wishper 60 filter, box of filter carts, 300 watt heater,
the big gravel rocks(spectral stone I think), large can of fish food, gravel pump and siphon hose and various water conditioners for............
$50 bucks it does not get any better. I'll have to post pics. I might just convert my old 50 gallon wide into a saltwater tank, If only I could get a deal like that on a ws6/03 cobra life would be complete.Last edited by Murder after Midnight; 12-21-2006 at 04:10 PM.

I don't know anything about fish tanks, but i'm guessing you bought the stuff used. How much would all that cost new?

ALOT! first of all acrylic fish tanks costs nearly triple what glass tanks do, not to mention the filter I got cost $50 new in the store alone, If you dont know much about fish tanks, it probably wont mean much to you, but next time you go to petco or pet smart just go price some larger tanks and stands and you will have your answer. It was a east coast jack move, basically robbery without a gun.

Well you can make a tank I'll post some diy links in a minute,
anyway they use the acrlic to save weight and I know you can
buff the scrathes out easliy with acrylic, it's just a more upscale tank that costs more but fish tanks arent cheap when you start talking about 50+ gallons new..................

acrylic does buff out easier, but it also scratches easier.
the main advantage is its not as brittle, shit wont just shatter with any little hit. and you can weld the panes together, making a perfect seal. will never leak.
