anyone ever go on it? I just went on recently and I kinda like it and hate it at the same time. post your experiences

i hated it. only brought home at the time, about half the money i usually brought home from work. plus my wife at the time drove me nuts. gotta be careful about being out of work for more than 45 days without any kind of medical insurance cause if you have a 45 day lapse in coverage your new provider will consider alot of shit preexisting(sp?) and not pay for your hospital or doctor visit.

They sure make it a pain in the ass to collect your money I'll say that much. Funny thing is as nice as it is to sleep in its making me feel like my days are wasted and going by way too fast. Part of me loves doing what I want the other part of me says im 24 and need to be making lots of money right now.

i love sleepin in too. i worked for many years on second shift then like alot of places in my type of work started 12 hour shifts and i hate working night 12 hours. the bad thing about working day 12 is i get up at 4:30am and leave by 5am. it takes me about 35minutes to get to work. but anyhow, even if i didnt work i'd still get up before daylight and hit the lake.

I was on unemployment for 5 months. I collected $224 every week. I basically did it until they told me I couldent do it anymore. Now im looking for a job.

It sure is fun after a 6 yrs straight, 4 yrs of them working 6 days a week, but on the same token it does kinda make ya feel like a bum too. I dunno, as long as money is coming in its cool with me lol I'm jus not thrilled about the check being smaller then what I'm used to.

I haven't been on unemployement but I have been on disability since
Aug. 11, 2006. I put a couple grand into the new Camaro!
