My opinon doesn't mean much, but here's what i think. I dont understand why anyone would put another cars rims on. For instance i see Base Mustangs with Cobra rim or Saleen rims all the time. There are tons of goo looking rims out there. For WS6's Torque thrust look awsome and a bunch of others look good. I personally like the Z06 rims on a Z06.

We'll if I had my way I would put Firehawk rims on it, but they don't make them anymore! I have yet to see any aftermarket rims you guys explained that I like. Looks like I'll probably go with the 2000 WS6 rims in chrome. I would hate to buy those Z06 rims to find out they look like sh*t!

At least you want wheels that are in the GM bloodline.

You're talking about getting "C5 Z06" wheels right? Not a big fan of those. Chrome Y2K wheels would look good.

Now the wheels on the blue WS6....that's sharp....looks like C6 wheels. Not sure why the guy had to put the Corvette logo on the door....the wheels are one thing....but the logo....too much.

    And go 17 front/18 rear.....or 18 ft/19 rear. Just my opinion....your mileage may vary....

I had the C5 Z06 wheels on my old pewter Ws6 and I thought they looked horrible. I thought about the Y2K's, but I just don't know. If I were to go with 17's w/255 40's tires in the front and 18's w/275 35's in the rear would it have an effect on my automatic transmission shifting points? By the way, thanks for the response. I just like to have some feedback to help make a decission in the matter.

Not an expert on this so someone else should confirm this....but I'm thinking if you keep the total tire+wheel rolling diameter of the 18's the same as the 17's you would be ok with the tranny and speedometer. 275/35-18 should keep you in the ballpark.

Hi, those rear wheels on the blue WS6.. are those the 19 x 10? Do you know if those rear tires and wheels fit without any spacing or cutting? *shiver*

I don't know.. I just seen the car listed on Ebay! All I know is they are 18's in front and 19's in the rear as stated in the auction. Sorry I couldn't help!

personally i think they would look great. So what if your brand crossing, its not like your badging a Firebird as a WS6... rolling stocks a diffrent story. Kinda like the new mustangs, hell i like the 6 cylinder wheels for those better than the GT wheels. I have C-6 wheels on my Trans Am...they look nice...dont know if ill keep them forever but i like em for now.

Put whatever wheels you want on it. Whether C5, Torque thrusts, stock, or anything else aftermarket. I'll find a pic of a Silver TA with Chrome Z06 wheels. I think I have it saved on my computer. When I find it, I'll post it.

I would go with the older z06 wheels if I had to pic between the two but I'm not a big fan of either.
