Paint?
Ive got a hugger lS1 and was going to paint the top of the car and the mirrors hugger orange to match the rest of the car....tint the windows as dark as possible...do you think that this would look good or just leave them black?

I think it would look good. I am not a fan of black roofs on non black cars.

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
I would leave it as is. I personally like the contrast in color, but the real reason to leave it alone, is you have a very rare Camaro and you are going to hurt the value of it by changing the color like that.

Paint'em if ya want. Don't look for popular opinion.
In my opinion, it would look good. Different is good sometimes.
I hate the black mirrors on Camaro's. It just looks like they were replaced or someone forgot to paint them since they don't match the body color on the fender form that blends to the mirror.
It ain't gonna hurt the value by any noticeable difference.

I'd buy a spare pair of the mirrors and have them painted, that way you can always go back to stock to maintain value.
I personally wouldn't paint the roof though, that's a defining characteristic of Z/28s. Just get the windows tinted and learn to appreciate the two-tone look! She's baaaaaccccck...

it looks good from that angle, but in reality you'd just look like a V6. and you'd devalue a rare car.

When I paint the top I would also be doing a ss hood and spoiler
with the berger panel painted black.. everything but the hockey stripe (I want a clean look)

Do IT!!!! It will still be just as rare cause you didn't change the entire color.

I just think the rare car value is rediculous. I mean if you put your car under glass it might make a difference. Paint it man that looks awsome.

Leave it as is, and just get some black TTM's (as much as I hate the Idea of black wheels).

Paint it!
You can always paint it back at a later date...If the value for these cars goes through the roof!
