Device promises 60% gas savings?
I call BS on this straight off but like to hear what you have to say...it was on tv last night- local news. something about using hydrogen as fuel. I bet the guy ran the first mileage test with the ebrake on..there is a video attached

WOW! I'm curious why there was no mention what the effects on power were. Either way, somebody needs to buy one and give it a try, I'll donate $20 toward the purchase price!

Ok, i just viewed the video they have, and i have to say DAMN that sounds like a decent investment for a daily driver. But in our cars you can tune the air/fuel ratio so that you're not running rich and wasting gas

no matter how spot on your tune is there is still incomplete combustion... i think this device uses electrical energy from your alternate to dissociate hydrogen from water and somehow add that hydrogen gas into the combustion mixture for combustion... but the law of thermodynamics says that you cant create energy so the energy you put into the device could at best be what it puts out... idk sounds very wierddddd

A block of wood under the go peddle would save lots of gas and be really cheap.

I think you'll have to look into chemistry on this one. The simple question is will any derivative of water (H2O) aid in the comustion of gasoline? Talking to old school racers I know there was such a thing as water injection, but I thought that had something to do with outrageous compression ratios and high octane fuels...I know there are some brainiacs in here, help us out.
Obviously raw Oxygen will burn hotter/faster than the 72% nitro 26% oxygen we run our cars on, but what about the Hydrogen? Is it even possible/pheasable to increase the Hydrogen content of gasoline?
so many questions...

# The HYDRO-4000 will enhance your vehicle's performance and improve mileage by 20% to over 60% depending on the way you drive and maintain your car.
I heard if you put a rock in here you'll get a diamond.

i believe that device is basically just hyrdogen injection or hydrogen boost.
me and my dad have been researchin/lookin into makin one of these to put on his beater pickup to experiment with it. ive heard its pretty easy to make your own. . . heres the thread i started about it:

im sketchy on this...
ok this is possible... its not like they are breaking it down and using it solely to power the motor... but here is my thing... they are just increasing the effeciency... just leaning out a motor will do that... and we all know what happens when we lean out a motor...
I dont know if i trust this... our fuel systemes/motors arent designed for this... I can see this being something that a motor could be designed around... but just throwing on a motor... i would worry about that...

Who here actually believes that that Dodge was only making 9.4 mpg??

for all those of you that have some knowledge of hs chemistry it takes a LOT of energy to separeate hydrogen from a water molecule... there's a reson why water is such a stable and unreactive molecule.. so the energy to separate the two hydrogens would have to come form the engine... whichin effect is just like running on a treadmill... the energy you put into making the hydrogen wouldn't be equal to the energy you get from it...
