i went on and i'm finding different prices all over the place. if you had to give a rough estimate what would you think the package would be worth?

You could get around $3K for engine and tranny together. I have seen the prices range from $1.5K to $4K or more depending on engine mileage, condition, bolt-ons, etc...Hope this helped.

I recently sold a 2000 Vette motor with 34,000 on it for $3800. People will buy, so don't set your price too low or you may regret it.

Sounds pretty awesome to me. My brother actually bought the motor from me and is putting it in a 63 Nova SS. Should be a runner after he builds the motor.

I dropped my combo into a 69 el camino. If you are into restomods, go for it. LS powered nova would be real cool. You would probably have to do modifications to the nova to make it work. I notched the frame in the 69 to make my motor fit without playing around with different oil pans. You get the idea.
So yes...you could sell it and fix up the Nova or use the motor and tranny to make a pretty cool car. Either way, your preference.
