bad day at track
The last time i drove my GTO to the track i had my buddies nitto drags. I went to the track yesterday with my street tires and man did it suck. I could not get my 60ft times better than 2.3-2.5. with the nittos i could get 1.9's all day and now my 1/4 mile times sucked. I don't like using drag slicks because i am afraid of my rear end going out. How else can i get off the line better? or can a stock rear end handle it?

Drag bags for about $120 will help with wheel hop. and then DR's should be OK. My rear end went out with modding, I'm pushing a little more than stock.

everyone who has an A4 doesn't seem to have a problem with the rear ends.....it's M6 cars, I guess because of dropping the clutch?

I like the prochargers...Here are some links for some info on a s/c for the 06 GTO. I'm sure some of the site sponsers have them also.
