There's a lightweight drycell battery you can buy that weighs 14lbs. as a pose to your 40lb. one. The rear seats weight approx. 45lbs. and they make a 15lb delete kit for em. Uhm, you can delete your air conditioning and EGR Valve. I know people who go as crazy as ripping out the carpet for a 30lb reduction. Hope that helps you out alil man.

You can also move your battery to the rear of the car, I know someone who did that. No weight reduction obviously but I hear it helps for the track. And yeah, taking out the air conditioning will help a lot.

I imagine when you get your car back-if you do- it will be considerably lighter. Don't give up, it could come back to you, good luck. Just wanted to point out that it's a good rule of thumb that for each 100 lb. weight reduction there is a 1/10 reduction in 1/4 mile ET.
