    lobe separation question

    I am thinking about doing a cam for my 98 z28. What kind of power differences should i expect between a 228/580/114 and a 228/580/112?

    There wouldnt be much of a power difference. The difference would be where it reaches peak power. I had the f10 114 which are similar specs, but my f13 112 doesnt idle much different than it. If its an auto, get the 114, manual, 112. just my .02

    You can run a lower LSA on an auto if you have a good tuner. Mine is a 110 LSA and I put a 113 lsa into my wifes and they both idle fine.

    that is very true! overlap has a major role determining if the idle will be tame or not.
