Getting new tires/rims, help!

Pretty soon it's gonna be time for me to change out tires/rims. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to tires, so I need some help choosing them. The car is driven everyday in the rain and sun and it never sees snow here in FL, but I need a decent tire for all seasons.

I want the tires to be wider than stock, but I am kind of on a budget, so I want to keep the cost down as much as possible.. Can anybody recommend some good tires and a place to get them from?

I like my BFG KDWs they are probally not the stickest tire around but they do hold up well, and they have been good for me in all the different types of weather we have here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I usually just get them from the Discount tire here in town for around 200-250 each for 275/40/R17 (been a while the ones on the back have lasted almost 3 years with some track time and as my DD about 1000 miles a month). Another thing I would tell you to consider even though you are on a budget there should be a few things that I think you need to try and not let budget control the two biggest being brakes and tires since they are so important in the overall safety of the car. Granted I know as well as anyone that a budget is something you have to follow sometimes.
