what y pipe do i need to do this
I might be getting a loudmouth1 system for an ls1 and I am getting pacesetter headers for my car too. what type of y pipe could i get so that i don't need the slp lt1 adapter for my car.

Depends if you are getting the longtube headers or mid-length headers. If you get the LT's, all you need is the pacesetter Y-pipe for those headers and you will be fine. If you get the mids, then you will need the adapter kit because that y-pipe and the LM won't match up.
