    Light bulb number

Does anyone out there know the number for the light bulbs that fit in the door handles on the 2002 T/A's? I had to replace my power window motor and mine went out. Thanks for any help.

Forgive me if I'm asking something silly - but have had both my door panels off and had to make a conscious effort to remember to reinstall them on the panel, it's not hanging loose is it?

No problem- it's not loose, as I made sure to install it and check it before I put the handle back on the door panel.

I found some today at Advance Auto Parts. #37 is the replacement bulb for the door handle lights.

Mine died too, using a magnifying glass, I could read my bulb has no 74 on it and looks just like this bulb:

(Sure the other works fine too?)

Here I was thinking they were smart enough to use an LED! I really like how this looks though. I remember noticing it the first night I had the car. Very subtle and classy I think.

Thanks guys for the help! I've had no problems with the #37 bulbs from Advance. I've been thinking of trying to work up something similar for my 1979 T/A.

Yeah, I'm sure they'd look cool. I'm thinking of something to light up underneath the dash in red too.

If you can do me a favor, pull your license plate light, if its the same size as that, the more common number to find these is a #194.

    Wink smaller.....

The plate light is a 194, the door switch light bulb is tiny, 1/2 the size of a 194, I just finished changing out mine a few minutes ago, can post a pic if need be...?

No 74 dimensions are; Diameter (in) 0.220, Length (in) 0.800

No 194 dimensions are; Diameter (in) 0.375, Length (in) 1.050

74 does look just like a tiny 194.....

Ah gotcha, I seen the picture and went "That looks like a 194" but pictures are deceiving compared to IRL when theres nothing to contrast the size to.
