    Which SFC ?

I am going to do the first mod to my car, and I figure I'll get a nice SFC. Don't want anything TOO extravagant, but I don't want to throw my money away on a POS one either

Any suggestions on which one to get and where to get it?

Also will any SFC's get in the way of anything I might do later down the road?Like custom X pipe?

I just ordered a set after lowering my car. Should be here tomorrow or sat. I will let you know how the set I purchased goes after installation.

I just ordered the Mac weld in from the WS6store.com I think they were only $126 shipped. I had similar ones on my other car so I figured Id give these a try.

I just had my UMIs welded on Friday. The camaro feels like a whole new car now. Couldnt be happier with the results, paid 150 for them.

did you have to get your car checked to make sure the frame was straight first? i was reading that you need to do that before you get them welded on.

gable200ta, they are weld in type, i believe the bolt ins are more expensive...if it were me I would go for weldins, thats what everyone else seems to like and i havent had any problems with mine

Thats probally not a bad idea on cars with high miles, especially ones that have been modded and launched hard many a time at the track. My car only has about 20,000 on it and is pretty much stock so i didnt have it checked.

    Thumbs up

Well I had the Mac sfc's welded in today and I must say it was a great improvement. No more squeaks and it really stiffened up the car. Feels like a giant boner driving down the road. Car handles so much better and I can really tell they are on there when I turn into a driveway with an incline. A must mod.

I had Comp. Eng. bolt in's on my 1994 Z and now have Jegs weld in SFC on my 1999 Z. Both brands fit nice and were no problem to install. They both have a thick powercaoting that resisted chipping and rust.
