I went a few places yesterday looking at a couple cars, let me run down the list.

2002 Porshe Boxter-- the guy told me it was the fastest thing on the lot (new or used). Problem was we were 30 yards from a handful of C6s but he assured me that the vette was a joke compared to the porshe. He also told me he could get me in it for $400 a month (no down payment) Car had 50k miles


2004 350Z-- I actually liked this one and he guy said it topped out at alittle over 200mph ...and to think, I usually laugh them off on the streets Too bad it was red or I would have shown more interest.

and finally the guy wanted to show me a car they had just gotten in on trade that he thought I would like.. it was an Rx8 --RED.

He told me that this car would out preform and outhandle my trans am in every aspect. He said it would run neck and neck down the 1/4 mile as well It was cute

I asked him why it was so damn fast since it had roughly 200hp from the factory but he assured me that it came more like 215 and it had an amazing rotary motor

I love driving my car to sales lot, they always think they have to impress me with their talk when Id rather just look around till I find something that catches my eye.

Lastly, the last guy I talked with said that if I decided to trade I could always sell my performance parts on ebay and "jack it off" ....I have no fucking clue what that meant

I test drove an RX8 stick (has more hp then the auto) The damn car was so slow I was disappointed
No torque at all. It did handle very nicely though. Interior was comfortable, but way too much crap to play with for my taste.

I drove a manual RX8. Those cars feel so slow it's just gay. Mazda can keep them.

well they only have 250hp at 8500rpm, most people dont feel right pushing a engine that far ....
and with a blistering 14.5 in the 1/4 mile , when drove by a pro.........

Anything really, I kinda like the 350Z but havent found one around here.

Ive figured Ill reach my goal of a 03 Z06 in ~2years, thats a solid year after graduating to save alitte so I just wanna find something alittle less extreme in the mean time.
