    Lifter collapse

Has anybody had any luck getting a collapsed lifter to pump back up? I know it is a long shot, but I thought I would ask. Sounds like it is coming from the left bank. The right bank is quiet. Don't want to pull the head just for a lifter....I'm lazy!

Does it sound like a really annoying ticking sound and increase as rpms go up? I have to do the same thing, but I wanna save up for LT's at the least and possibly pushrods/ springs so that I can just do a cam swap at my leasure...

Sucks ass this didn't happen in the beginning of winter, cause it's getting nice and I can't/ don't wanna even drive it cause it sounds like shit lol/

Yeah it is definitly louder than a ticking noise. It does increase with rpm. Bad thing is this time last year I did heads and cam. Just didn't do lifters at same time. I read up on this forum and ls1gto forum before doing cam/heads and most people said factory lifters were fine. Plus I only had 24k on the engine. So if you ever take the heads off do the lifters. Now I just need to figure out which lifters to go with
