Transmission fluid

what type/ brand of trans fluid do you guys recommend for the m6 tranny?

Six speed inc recomends mobile 1 atf or gm/pennzoil sycromesh. I'm running the pennzoil sycromesh

This will open a huge can of worms...

I debated all summer what to use in my 6 speed. I really like the idea of synthetic fluids, but in the long run just decided to use the good old atf stuff they recommend. I figured why let that be an issue if my tranny ever goes out. I am confident the fluid won't break it now. That is my recommendation-check the owners manual and use what they say, but do as you please. Goodluck!

i have amsoil unerversal atf. flushed it out with regular ole dexron VI before i put it in

thanks for the tips everyone. I have the owners manual and a haynes maual. one said dexron2 other said dexron 3 or what ever. was'nt sure about either because they both were talking about the auto trans. thanks again for the help.

Dexron 3. But there really no big difference. Just make sure its full.

Dextron III here as well unless heat build up is an issue then I usually go with RP syncromax fluid . Amsoil and Redline both have some decent stuff too ......
