well have stock 16's now and wanted to go bigger for the wider tire, i mostly drag/street race. what would better?
i would love to go wider/bigger would be the same as doing some DR's on stock 16's i rather save some money

Personally, I think anything larger than a 17" wheel looks too big on the F-Body.
16's would be best for strip since you can run a fat tire without having to shave your rear calipers to run 15" wheels like a ProStar.
Bogarts are the only 15" wheel that will fit without grinding. As far as I know.

17's PERIOD. Mostly due to the fact there is still not a great 18" drag radial. The Mickey 275-40-17 works great I have personally gotten 1.52 60' foots with them on big bottle. The BFG 18" drag radial is NO comparison in traction.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

I went from 16's to 18's and it had a dramatic diffrence in how the car felt
obviously it had better grip around corners but the extra weight of the larger rim made it harder to spin the tires over. And my ride actually got better not worse.Craig

My CCW wheels are 18s, but here is the biggest reason why you should stick with 17s versus 18s. I have found that tire selection for 18s does not compare to the selection for 17s, meaning tires for 18s are a huge increase in price versus 17" tires.

about 2 weeks ago i was set on the ccw from talking to someone here bc someone said they came in 11's in the rear but after hereing there almost 2500$ just for rims, may be a lil to nice. but they are the best looking wheels out there if you have soem cheese to fork over

whatever you do do not get 20's. I bought my ss and the previous owner had them on there, I am currently trying to get rid of them. They ride crappy and are a pain in the ass to break loose. I am pointing the stock 10 spokes gloss black and throwing some good radial on there
