does the cover plate need to be painted?
I just purchased a new front plate cover for my black '99 TA. it comes black primed not sure if I have to paint it black. my car is currently in the shop
undergoing motor swap so I can't get to it to compare how close the black color of the car matches with the plate cover. so if anybody ordered a front cover plate black color, did you need to paint it black as well to the factory code spec or was it very close that it did not matter.
thanks!

yeah painting would be the best, and if you cant do it yourself, expect to spend about 80, thats how much mine recently cost me

cool I'll color paint match it, it cost $40 to do a rocker panel so I assume it will cost 20 bucks to do this, it's primed already. then I need to put the white reflective bird decal on the cover.
