power steering help
my power steering kicks in and out the fluid is full the guy I bought the car said something about a power valve any one know what he is talking about?
01 ws6 most of the time the power steering doesnt work any input would help.

There is a valve that controls pressure. Yes it could be sticking and causeing your problem. It would be sticking due to wear on the rack and the metal get's ground into that piston bore which stops it from moving freely in it's bore.
You can get a reman. rack and pinion pretty cheap anymore around $200 which would also make for a good time to get a performance alignment which will make a world of difference if done right.Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

so it should be the pressure hose..correct?!out of thoe p/s hoses..thats the one most likely to crack due to ''pressure"
