Black- 2000 Z28 Camaro
2000 Z28 cats gutted now i have p0131
It was gutted by a performance shop called Jung Performance down here in fort lauderdale. I thought everything would be ok but he didn't even know simulators were needed to keep the codes from going off?
Now i pull away and I have p0131 and to my suprise that means low voltage on bank 1 sensor 1 which is not the sensor that should be affected by gutting the cats.
My Z is now chugging and limping unless i open it full throttle. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Sooooo, it's safe to say that we can now place the blame of global warming solely on you??....that your selfish quest to gain 5hp at the expense of our great grandchildrens' health and wellbeing exceeds your moral obligations to protect Mother Earth??.....my gutted cats haven't gave me a lick of problems....knock on wood.

If you are driving a V8 you aren't exactly environmentally friendly anyway lol! I love your sarcasm
I actually think i found the problem. I pulled off the o2 sensors in the rear on both banks (post cat) and low and behold same problem p0131 which is actually the bank1 sensor 1 or driver side pre cat. In addition the o2 sensors in the rear don't make performance changes for fuel/air ratios as they just measure the performance of the cats.
I think the problem their in lies with the mechanic that banged the shit out of my cats to gut them. He must have broke the sensor, pre cat, and thus my shitty dump truck sound
