In 5 years,will a 02-04 z06 or 05 c6 hold value better?
Both cars considering condition and milage is the same.

I almost have the trans am sold so now I'm at the point to choose. I think the z06 outperforms the c6 and it is a hell of alot cheaper BUT it may start looking dated

I agree with the interior comment. The exterior is my toss up. I still like the look of my c5 and like the looks of the new c6. I really hate the back of the c6 though. I cant stand the slight indent contour and the perfectly round taillights. I liked the flags on the top of the back end and the "corvette" between the tail lights. I dont know if I like the look of the frc too much.....Decisions decisions...

yep in 5 years the C6 will have more value. I would personally get the Z06 though because of the $ i would save and use that to mod.

resale value, the c6 is worth more. which model would i rather have? i rather have an 04 z06 preferably with low miles. they sound better, they pull harder up top and i think the looks still really hold up nice. plus the z06 is a buyers car now. it can be a real bargain. if your the kind of person thats concerned about materials on an interior then the c6 wins hands down. i had an 04 z06 as a used car at work and the thing was nice though. the build quality was good and there wasnt a single squeek or rattle even over hard bumps going pretty fast. lastly dont forget the c6's possible nightmare of a keylessentry/engine start system.

I don't really care about interior. My options are-spending around $28k for a 02 z06 with probably around 30k mi (black tend to be a bit more) or a c6 with 20k mi or so for $37k. I don't do mods. With the difference in the money in the price, I would invest it.

Haha I hear that from my friends all the time. I'm not a motorhead and I don't believe in spending an arm and a leg in labor. If i was, I'd look at a supercharged Z06.

Black on Black- 2001 Camaro SS
Those 03 vettes were the 50th Anniversary if not mistaken. How many Z06's were made each production year? The Z06 could be, if there are a rare number made.

there were like atleast 5000 Z06 made each year- so it is not rare. The ones that wil be worth $ are the 2004 commemorative edition - if any. It can be on a coupe, vert, or Z06. Only just over 2000 of each type made. Its blue with silver stripes and red outline on the stripes. Looks awesome in my opinion.
