Stiff Shifter???
i have a 2000 WS6 and im not sure where to even start on this shifter. the car runs fine, clutch is good, clutchmaster cyl might need replaced but thats besides the point. when the car is off or running, the shifter is in neutral and the shifter is really stiff. its easy to get to 1-2 gear. 3-4 isnt to hard. but pushing it over to 5-6 and Reverse is a bitch. it will go into the gear and they work fine its just so tight. my 02 is nice and smooth and so is my 99 so i have no idea whats going on. the car is all stock so im not sure if something is bad or whats up. any suggestions????

Pull shifter and look at the plastic socket it sits in. I bet it is loose. Relpace it. Be sure to epoxy it in place. You will have to buy a T5 part because the T56 is only sold bonded to the offset lever( more $) which is a little more difficult to change.
