    98 Z28 camaro M6 hardtop

    unscrew driver side upper mount shock bolts(98' Z28)

    anyone has tricks to unscrew the torx head bolt from the upper shock assemblie under the brake master cylinder(driver side) without pulling out the master cylinder on a 98 Z28???

    all you have to do is take the two nuts off for the master Cly. leave the line on, pull the master Cly off the studs and push it out of the way the lines will bend. but don't be rammy or you might fuck up the lines

    yep you have to move the master cylinder out of the way. do what s99ta described and you are good to go.

    and the master cylinder will not loose any fluid or do i will necessary obligated to change seal or gasket when i will do this???

    no you just have to lossen the bolts to move it enough to get at the torx bolts.

    I actually replaced the torx with grade 8 bolts so the next time I will not need to mess with the master cylinder the next time I switch out the springs.
