    Question Estimated RWHP and Torque

Just got my Z06 with the mods listed. What kind of numbers do you guesstimate? Anyone know of a good dyno tune shop close to Dalton, Ga or Chattanooga, TN? I don't plan on doing anything else as far as performance mods, is there a hand held programmer that could give me some additional ponies? Thanks in advance!

just kidding, the only way to find out is dyno, some cars dyno alot higher than others stock for stock let alone with mods

i've heard nothing but bad about those handhelds, your best bet is a laptop program for personal use, or just a dyno tune where ever you get er dynoed.

my stock 2003 ls1 dynoed at 306rwhp, it should be out of the performance shop tomorow. im looking for it to dyno around 450rwhp with the stage2 kit. that should be around 525hp at thw flywheel. hope my stock clutch will handle it.

    Thumbs up Nice!

Even with a low mileage stock LS1 clutch I wouldn't exspect it to hold up very long with those kind of numbers. I hope I don't unknowingly run up on you expecting an easy kill. Nice ride!!

8,000 miles on the car/clutch. problem is i put every penny into the engine and didn leave enough to have a clutch put in. it will have to wait till next year. it should hold for now as long as i dont beat the shit out of it. best of all the car looks completely stock. sleeper, if you couldnt hear it cam. lol

i would like to run with a new z06 and see how bad i get beat?

It was already on the car when I purchased it so I couldn't tell you. I still need to buy a smooth bellow like I did for my WS6. The ribbed ones that come factory supposedly disrupt the air flow. The new Z06 would take you drivers being equal unless you upgrade suspension and rear rubber

400 after dyno tune is what I'm hoping for. I'll post my numbers in about a month after I return from Brazil. Thanks for all the replies.

dyno tune is done, i got 426 rwhp. a little less that i was expecting but i will be plenty happy with it. i would have liked to have seen 450 rwhp that was my mark. if i upgrade the stock mass air flow sensor, throttle body ,and bellow can i pick up 20 or so to the rear wheels.

current mods: stage 2 cam & heads, rockers, lifters, pushrods, springs. kooks longtube headers, high flow cats & x pipe. corsa indy mufflers. k&n ram air.

    this shit gets expensive.lol

I'm going to say 375 at the wheels. Skip the handheld programmers and go have it tuned by a professional tuner. Have fun
