i got it for like $585.. free shipping on the hood. I was gonna order the glasstek when i called the guy to ask him about it, he said he recommends this one instead. Plus for $585 shipped it's not bad..

oh god.. about the sfc's.. been running ALL over today.. the place i was supposed to go at 830, didn't even have the equipment they told me they had.. then i've been running all over the city for the last 3 1/2 hours trying to get prices on welding them on..
All of them were outrageously high so I'm going to the place that welded my dads cam on his SHO... a place called fordspeed, they're gonna do it for $200.

$200 is still a lot I didn't think it was that much. Good luck on that! Keep us posted on how it turns out.

yea well unfortunately the exhaust guy can't do it, his welder isn't powerful enough.. so it's gonna cost me $200 to get them tomorrow... it better be worth it

ahh, just got them welded in finally!! cost me $200 but it was worth it.. the car feels so much more solid than it did before.. i could feel it twist and bend when i would accelerate fast but now there is none of that.. feels like the car is one single unit now.. not a bunch of different things going different ways.. hard to explain but it's a great item.. the guy did a great job putting them on too..

ok just got done puttin on the SLP lid that came today... pain in the ass to get it on.. took about an hour and a half.. the little plug you put in the side of the airbox was the first problem.. would NOT go in and we had to trim it down a little bit to get it in...
Then the MAF was near impossible to get into the new lid... took about 45 mins of twisting / pushing and banging with a bigg hammer and a 2x4 for us to finally get it in right..
After all the troubles, it finally got in. it does fit nice and snug now and has no problems staying down.. didn't really get to test it out because it started raining right when we finished installing it, but i'll test it out thoroughly tomorrow and let you guys know

heh even if i did have a hair dryer i wouldn't have thought of that... just got a 2x4 and a hammer and banged on it in diff ways for a LONG time..
i hope i'm never gonna have to take out the MAF for some reason, idk how i'm gonna do it.

Haha, yeah i had the same problem with mine but not that bad. The part that took the longest was when i opened the package and the rubber piece rolled down my friends driveway and we couldnt find it for about 5 minutes
