For a grand, I would stick to the pop ups.

I like it but a grand is a pretty good chunk of blower and a blower is way more bang for the buck
current cars:
'02 WS6
'71 Cutlass SX/455
Bike:
YZ 450F
previous cars
another '71 Cutlass SX (sold it in '81)
'69 Camaro cp (sold it in '83)

ya i got them for a few resons A drops 22lb per side since the stocks are 22lb each .
if you race at all that extra almost 50lb off front end .thatwas worth it for me .
no more broken pop motors
and much better lighting
looks alot better
but thats just me

I never really cared much for the look of those, but that's mainly just because I'm so used to the pop-up headlights. And yeah it will get rid of the annoyance of the gears/motors going out. Wouldn't be worth the grand it costs to me, but that's just my humble opinion. I think it does look good on the CE because it makes a nice contrast on the front, not too crazy about it on pewter or black though.

00 white - 97 red- trans am
$1k...
as much as i like them, i can't justify the cost. even with a group purchase of 10, they would only come down $100 each, geeeezz...

also think about it, much less air drag/resistance at nite. you gain 4-5hp right there. 1k is too much. I'd wait another year and it will drop to 700-800..

Navy Blue Metallic- 2002 Trans Am WS6
I forget the name of the company that makes them. They are the only company that does so. That's why they charge so much. They have the market cornered.

Just get brighter fogs when you race, then you won't have to pop em open

I think they would look better with the VHT Night Shades spray on them.
Of course that's cause I have a black TA
I wouldn't spend $1k for them though.
