Ashtray lid/ console question

I am trying to find the correct ashytray lid/cover for my 2000 T/A. I ordered one from year-one but it didn't fit. Are there any differences in the Firebird vs. Camero console? Also (stupid question) what are the differences between M6 and A4? Thanks...

M6=6 speed. A4=Automatic. I'm not sure about the consoles but I know everything else, the dash, doorpanels, seats, etc is different in the t/as and camaros. I don't know how different the consoles are between the autos and manuals other than the hole where the shifter goes.

The ashtray i recieved from Yearone said 00-02 F body, i was wondering if it were a mistake. Is it remotely possible that i have a '99 console in a 00 T/A?

Well I wouldn't think the 99s would be any different. The LT1s may have had different consoles than the newer ones but I can't answer that one.

The consoles are different between the M6 and A4's. The only difference in the years is the color.
