im gonna put my new ls6 intake and a new magnaflow exhaust this weekend......i have the write up on the intake, but can find anything on the exhaust....

is there a location i should cut to make it slide out better????im gonna do this in my garage, and plan on using a pneumatic grinder to cut the stock tube??????should i cut above the axle?????before the axle?????after the axle??????how much ground clearance will i need?????

any help or tips will be appreciated.....

I think your "shift+/" key is stuck, may want to look into that....


Cut the pipe right before the axle, it'll slide out real easy.

All you should need for ground clearance is some ramps. just back it on.


It's a fairly easy change, just takes a little time, but is well worth it. I went with the magnaflow too, sounds so awesome. Good luck!!

i too have the magnaflow, very easy to install, you shouldn't have a problem with that at all, i cut before the axle.
