I've always been told that more exhaust duration on the cam is better with nitrous... I sprayed a TNT wet 100shot to the tune of 576rwhp/590rwtq on my heads/cam/stock bottom-end set-up. No problems for a couple years, but eventually pushed a head-gasket.

well, i'm not ls2tuner, but i think i can give a decent answer. i've been 200 rwhp on my stock bottom end. 150 should be no problem.

225 ALL day with the right A/F ratio and good gas. I hope your Patriot heads are better than the 3 different sets people have brought by the machine shop. They looked bad. Quickys to say the least.
Hope you have a fuel system to support the mtr. and the unit!!!I would also run the thick MLS gasket to get your quench area right. It will also help it handle more bottle.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

i know - 224/228 or 232 would be optimal but sleeeppprrrr... so ill sacrafice some gains... plus the exh dur isnt much of a factor under 200

kit maxes @ 300 (RWHP) so i was figuring 150/200 would be a nice number

well they're real LS6 castings - everyone was having problems with the "LS6 style" heads (stage 1.5/2/2.5 etc etc)
ill prob go conservative and run a 150 & be satisfied with high 10's
better then being greedy & loosing a motor... and alot of $$$ on a race
my tune will be right on... compliments of Eastside Performance
i was thinking of running the racetronix upgrade system...
what injectors should i look to run? 42's or bigger? (i was hopeing to run SVO's but i dont know if they'll be enough injector)

I know a guy in Florida who has been running a 225shot on a basically stock LS1 for years...he's won a lot of races/money too. I also know a guy in NC who blew a ringland on a 100shot/bolt-on LS1. Moral of the story? Don't ever bank on something NOT breaking...especially when dealing with the high cylinder pressures of nitrous. It sounds like you are being smart and taking the right steps, but start small and be patient. I've seen too many guys (especially import guys) get greedy with nitrous and break stuff. If you are a M6, you better start saving for a clutch and rear...

MOST of the deathly failures I've seen have been from IMPROPER installs,wanna-be wiring jobs, going off of somebody elses jetting, and last but not least NO TUNING on the timing.
Nitrous is safe as the install and tune!!

They used nitrous on the airplanes back in WWII.
