Exclamation New Rotors and Pads, any break-in needed?

I ordered those rotors from the ws6store and also the hawk HPS pads. They are being installed tomorrow but I was wondering if there is any kind of break-in period for the new rotors and pads?

There is a break-in period for then. It should have instructions with the rotors but I believe you go up to 30mph and then slow down but not to a stop then up to 50mph same brake procedure a number of times (can't remember off hand).

Then you let them cool off after this break in and they are ready to go. Just check with the info that should be in each box of the rotors.

The place I had them installed did the breaking in for me and I'm just taking it easy on the brakes for the next 50-60 miles.

Speaking of which, how much are these hawk pads? I forget and I cant access numbers right now cuz of the work computer.

I bought Metal Masters about a year ago and OEM Brembo Rotors. Those MM pads were the biggest fucking mistake I ever made. They dust beyond belief! In any case my questions are as follows:

How much are Hawk pads vs. GM's?
Which Hawk pads we talking about?
Can pads be changed without working or replacing the rotors?

    Hawk HPS
    130.00 for ws6store
pads can be changed be changed without changing the rotors but generally speaking of the stock ones they warp easily so it's a good idea to change them.
