today at the local shop that my friends own, procharger was there with a 69 camaro ss with a 580ci motor and a huge charger....no nitrous.....they were still running it when i left and the last pull it put down 1349rwhp and 1007rwtq.

Hate to burst your bubble but the vehicle shown in the picture is a 67 Camaro. Ask the man who owns one how to tell the difference.

BTW: In this case it was really easy.....

wing vents only on 67's...is the most obvious in this pic, and you can tell it's not a '69 cuz the rear wheel well has a round curve (even tho that pole is in the way.) which is on 67's & 68's.

I'm only 21 but i know the 1st & 2nd gens better than the 4ths. You're lucky you're old enough to have seen these cars on the lot when new!
