Srt-8
Today i was driving down the highway to the mall with my wife and at the corner of my eye i saw a red srt-8 charger. As i was passing by him i gave him a little rev. He pulled up to me as quick as he could but before we got a chance to go we hit traffic. His car was brand new, it still had all the stickers on it. Sad to say he ended up getting off the highway so we didn't get to test his car.

My brother has a SRT-8 Crysler 300. It is a really nice car and fast. I love the slapstick automatic he has in it, you can shift very fast. It's nice to be in a car with that much power and have room to lie back in the back seat with some room lol!!!. I drove his car at sea level when we were both visting our parents in Maine, (I live in Denver) and it seemed really fast. As far as racing one, I haven't really seen any on the street. My brother lives in Alabama and has one of the only ones in the state. However he also paid another 35K more than I paid for my Camaro. LOL!!!!!

They're pretty quick. I drove a Magnum SRT-8.
The problem was that it had serious wheel spin problems, and with the 20" wheels, it rides kinda crappy. Stiffer ride than my Trans Am by a long shot.
I definitely preferred how the Charger R/T Daytona I drove rode.2002 Trans Am 6sp, SLP lid, Holley filter, Shaner S3 TB, Jet Hot long tubes and cats, FRA, HP tuners, Hotchkis STB and LCAs. TEA stage 1.5 5.3 heads, Comp 220/224 114 +2, UMI Boxed SFCs, Edelbrock PHR. Moser 9" 4.11 gears.

I raced an SRT8 Charger with my wife in the car last weekend on the way to a party. We both pulled off the highway and came to a stoplight with 2 lanes. It was a double lane highway that merged into one lane in each direction. I thought for sure the guy was going to let me get ahead of him, as it was obvious we were in a hurry and he didn't look interested in racing. The light turned green and I gave it a good amount of gas, but didn't really push it. The next thing I know the SRT8 was trying to pass me, so I stomped on the gas. My wife said our TA felt like it jumped, because we pulled away from him so fast. We were far enough ahead of him that we took the lead where it became one lane doing about 90. I slowed down and the guy tail-gated me at about 70 mph, but didn't try to pass for about 3 miles before turning off.
