Really cool Discovery...flammible salt water
http://auto.howstuffworks.com/salt-water-fuel.htm
was looking around on how stuff works.com and came across this awesome idea. Turns out salt water is flammible when aimed at with a Radio Frequency Generator. Really cool idea.although, I cant see it going into use because of the government stopping it. We cant let our billion dollar owners of oil companies go poor now ! I think it would be a really good idea to find some way to incorporate this into every day use. Of course then it would be illegal to take water from the beach lol.

yup, I forget the whole story but it was real. I figure the scientist(s) that are working with it are probably dead by now in freak "accidents".

there was also a story about an oil supply found offshore in the Gulf I think that was comparible or larger than the supply found in Alaska. Supposedly would take 10 years before it would be tapped and to market though. There were all kinds of this stuff floating around whne everyone was getting used to the $3 per gallon gas prices. Now that everyone has stopped bitching you don't hear about it anymore.

We've known the supply was there in the gulf... we havn't started capitalizing on it yet because of the SEVERE enviromental risk involved... because I dunno if you have noticed, the gulf is CRACK for 'canes.

Also, they just found a huge deposit in the everglades... but its going nowhere for very similar reasons.
Oh, and the salt water thing? Thats like 3 months old... and its mostly a load of crap. Theory works, but practical applications? Not much there.
