Will cutting off my muffler hurt my performance?

On my 92 RS I did a muffler delete and fabed a Y pipe and ran straights back with tips, it sounded great and I even thought I noticed a little power increase, now htat was on a 305, will this have any negative effect on my LS1? Thanks for all the help!

no. save you about 50 pounds if you take off your catback.

they say you lose a bit of low end in favor of a bit of high end.

i have this done. feels a bit faster than normal.

absolutely will not hurt one thing.
