Steering wheel controls?

I picked up a Panasonic CQ-VD7003U multimedia deck. Crutchfield doesn't list a compatible adapter to use the factory steering wheel controls. The PAC SWI-X says it works with wireless remotes, and the Panasonic has a wireless remote. Does anyone know if it would work? (Crutchfield says it won't)

Pretty much any HU that uses an infrared remote control works with the SWI-X. Contact PAC and ask them if it's compatible with your Panasonic. I'm sure it is.

I origionally bought a Pioneer, but decided to go on and do the DVD player/Ipod/Satellite radio thing. I ordered a PAC SWI-PS, and it's on the way. I guess I'll list it for sale to get something out of it. Anyway, there may be contact info on the box when it gets here.

It should work with your stereo. It worked for my Pioneer and took only a couple of minuties to program. You can mount the emitter above the stereo.

I contaced PAC-Audio, and they say the PAC SWI-X will work for my application. So much for what Crutchfield and the 3 EBay sellers I emailed think. Thanx all.
