blacker than wesleysnipes- 98' trans am
i'd be careful..with that mileage and that power adder..unless done well with support mods you could be looking at a new bottom end possibly and then the t-56 will be due for a rebuild soon..but its hard to say without actually running it..but it looks great and might be a very decent buy.

well, if i had to guess (when actually i know) that is the intake....
it could be one of a few, but the 3 i would put my money on would be:
edelbrock victor jr.
wilson manifolds
gmpp L76
it justs an intake manifold designed for use with a carb, which is why they had to use a 90 degree elbow in order to mount the throttle body. it looks like this:Last edited by secondgearscratch; 06-30-2007 at 04:53 PM.

I would jump on it. That is actually a pretty decent price. SO long as the car is nice. Hell the money is spent. Just drive it with some sense and start saving for a new bottom end in case something did happen. Drive it and check it out. Hell unmodded cars are not much less than that. I bet that guy took a beating on that car when he traded it in. Cash money would get it a lot cheaper.

oh i forgot: the car is too expensive for the amount of boosted miles it has. and its even worse if the dealer doesnt know anything about it. stay away...

That car is a monster im sure. The intake itself has the appearance of a carburetor but its still fuelie. They probably run a dfi set up on it and that procharger is blasting nice intercooled air right into that sombitch. The t56 is a strong fucking trans, the problem with the fbody is they use lousy shift forks and syncros. The design itself is great though. Use a viper t56 and itll hold a ton.

If its not running super high boost and the car is tuned right I'd honestly not worry about the shortblock going with only 72k on the clock. If you drive it right it should last a long time.

Hard to say if it's a good price although ProCharged equipped LS1's get about 3-5 grand on top of the going price.
