    99 TA

go with what you like the best.
I would go with the TA because it is more agressive looking and less expensive than a vette.
Corvette parts usually cost more as well (non-engine related)

    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

insurance and reliability are huge factors. I'd guess by your location you aren't gonna get snow or rained on much. It's true, vetter parts are more costly, but c'mon...IT'S A VETTE! i vote vette.

Yea a vette would be nice, still doing the pros and cons, insurance is not a huge factor, only a $8 difference per month for a vette

Back seat was a deciding factor for me. But I have a two year old son. I also like the aggressive looks and the fact that everyone in their mom doesn't have a WS6 on the road. I never see them out there. Vettes are everywhere. Can't take the superior handling away from the vette though. I rode in one on the track recently. Awesome, but I'm really happy with the WS6 handling on the road.

There's several things to consider I would think. Do you want straightling performance or do you spend a lot of time in the twisties? F-body for straightline and vette for the twisties. Personally, I love my f-body but at the end of the day it's still no vette. My buddy has a heads/cam 98 vette and I've driven it multiple times and I'd have to say it doesn't just blow me away when I get in it. It rides ok and handles great but I think the f-body fits me better. That's just personal preference. It's hard to pass on a vette but I'd say drive both and see what you think. Also, if you go with a vette get used to clearing codes. Those things throw a ton of codes it seems.
